Pastor

Jon Ferguson is a 1997 graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a 2002 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity.  He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is projected to graduated in December of 2013.

Jon has been with the church since 2000.  Prior to becoming the pastor of Forest Park Baptist Church, Jon served as the Minister of Youth, Education & Music. Jon and his wife, Julie, have a daughter, Hannah, who is 10 years old and a son, Caleb, who is 6 years old.

Jeff Reece

Music Director

Jeff Thornburg is a 1993 graduate of Guilford College.  Prior to joining the work at Forest Park in 2001, Jeff worked with other churches as an accompanist and Praise Team Leader. In the late 80's Jeff was the accompanist and music director for The Voyagers, a Southern Gospel group.

Jeff has been with the church since 2001.  He serves as the music director, part-time at the church and is the Underwriting Manager for MedCost Benefit Services in Winston-Salem, where he resides.
